Hello all,
I would be interested to know what test kits/equipment people recommend for water quality testing. We currently use the exacta iDIP and are contemplating either purchasing a second one or possibly an alternate test kit. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks, Tara

Hi Tara, We are using a YSI 9500 photometer kit with Palintest test reagents. These are locally sourced and you get get reagents for a wide range of different tests. Not the cheapest unit around by a long stretch, but we've found it to be very robust.
We have a seperate photometer for our chlorine testing when it comes to embryo bleaching. We use a Hanna instruments high range chlorine unit for this combined with Lamotte Iodine test strips item number 2948-BJ.
Cheers, Bruce.

Thanks Bruce,
Good to know. I'll look into the pricing and see whether it might be viable.
Cheers Tara
